Default Graphics problem help please READ!

hi.... when i play guild wars the game freezes for about 10 seconds then the screen goes totally black but the game is still running in the background..... i can still do anything in the game only the screen is black.... theres sound control etc... this can happen 5 minutes into the game or 5 hours into it.... sometimes i hear a click inside my comp beforehand sometimes i dont..... i checked temps.... cpu never goes above 57c and that is the absolute highest.. mostly stays around 52c.... Video card never goes above 57C. I tried installing different drivers... new and old catalyst drivers... and omega.... My video card is a sapphire x800xl slightly oc'ed using ati tools. i tried it withouht the oc and didnt solve it.... i have a p4 630 lga 775... oced to 3.0ghz oc'ed to 3.5ghz.... havent tried changing this cuz i shouldnt have to... it ran multiple 24 hour prime tests completely stable. 1gig pc3200ram. 3 120mm case fans.... 450w psu.... this computer runs FEAR and battlefield 2 without any problems... if anyone can help or has a similar problem help please...

Some games are senstive to overclocking, try un-overclocking the video card.

I have an X800XL PCIe card. IT says it is NOT made for over clocking. I seriously hope you didnt mess that nice vid card up!

My Guild Wars looks fantastic just running stock at 4xAA. I just do not see the need to overclock anything anymore.
